It's A Wonderful Life

It's a Wonderful Life has two jetted tubs — one at the foot of the king bed, one in the bunk room — and that combination alone makes it a different kind of two-bedroom cabin. Nine guests, a red-felted pool table, a full-size arcade console, a river-stone game room fireplace, queen-over-queen bunks built for adults, year-round access to both indoor and outdoor resort pools, and Dollywood five minutes down the road. The name sets a high bar and the cabin clears it.

The Living Area & Kitchen

Cathedral ceilings and white walls with golden wood trim give the main living area an airy, bright quality that feels more like a retreat than a rental. A stone fireplace runs from October through February, leather sofas invite long evenings in, and a flat-screen Smart TV handles the movie and sports crowd. The kitchen has butcher block countertops, a coffee station, a Keurig, and everything needed for group cooking — and the wood dining table with leather chairs seats eight steps away, comfortable enough that dinner conversations tend to run long.

The King Bedroom

The king bedroom has exposed log ceiling beams, original Smokies artwork, a flat-screen TV, and a deep jetted tub positioned at the foot of the bed — close enough to feel like part of the room rather than just a bathroom fixture. It's the kind of detail that earns the suite its status every single night of the stay.

The Bunk Room & Second Jetted Tub

The bunk room has queen-over-queen bunks — full adult-size sleeping, not kids' bunks — with its own flat-screen TV and a second jetted tub. It's an unusual configuration that makes the second room feel like a suite rather than overflow, and one that families and friend groups consistently appreciate. A twin loft bed and a queen sleeper sofa round out sleeping for the full group of nine.

The Layout

It's a Wonderful Life is designed so the two sleeping areas feel genuinely separate — the king suite on the upper level, the bunk room and game room on the lower level, with the main living space in between. For grandparents traveling with their kids' family, it's exactly the right configuration: everyone shares the trip, nobody's on top of each other. The kids have their own floor, the adults have theirs, and the living room is where everyone meets in the middle.

The Game Room

The game room sits alongside the bunk area with its own river-stone fireplace running from October through February — a genuinely cozy space built around a red-felted pool table and a full-size arcade console loaded with classic games. It's the room that gets claimed early in the stay and stays busy through the last evening.

The Decks & Resort Pools

A front porch with rocking chairs handles slower outdoor moments, and a covered back deck with a dining table and gas grill handles outdoor meals. The resort's indoor pool runs year-round, and the outdoor pool is available seasonally — a meaningful combination for families who want water options regardless of the time of year or the weather.

The Dollywood & Pigeon Forge Trolley

The Dollywood Trolley picks up right from the parking lot — no driving, no parking fees, no waiting in traffic to get out at the end of the night. For families with Dollywood on the itinerary, it's one of the most underrated conveniences in the area and one of the reasons this cabin keeps getting rebooked by the same families year after year.

Two jetted tubs, a pool table, an arcade, queen-over-queen bunks, and year-round resort pools — It's a Wonderful Life earns its name from check-in to checkout.
