The Wandering Bear Cabin is a cozy two-bedroom, 1.5-bath
cabin rental offering easy access to all the shopping, dining, and
entertainment options that Gatlinburg has to offer; making it the perfect place
to spend your vacation exploring the great outdoors or enjoying all the perks
of a fun-filled mountain town.
LIVING ROOM
Do you love the idea of a cabin in the woods, but
you don’t like the rustic aesthetic of a regular cabin? Then The Wandering Bear
is perfect for you! With traditional white walls, it feels more like a snug,
cozy home than a cabin. Featuring exposed beam ceilings, a stone fireplace, a
large flat-screen TV, and access to the main-level deck, this lovely home will
be your vacation oasis. You’re only steps away, at any given spot, to the
beauty of the Great Smoky Mountains!
Curl up for a movie marathon on the spacious seating
or play a game of charades with your family. This space is welcoming, warm, and
inviting. The opportunities for relaxation are endless here!
KITCHEN
Steps away, you’ll find the adorable fully stocked
kitchen. This cheerful room has everything you need to care for your family
while on vacation. Whip up some blueberry muffins for breakfast, and pair them
with a sumptuous coffee bar.
All cookery, flatware, and dishes are included for
your convenience.
DINING ROOM
The custom wooden farm table can seat four and is
a great multi-functional space! Bring a stack of board games and have a family
game night! Play Go Fish for hours with the kids. This space is flanked by
windows that frame the mountains—what a beautiful spot for breakfast!
BEDROOMS
Step inside the master bedroom for a restful
experience. This spacious bedroom provides you with a beautiful custom log bed
with bear accents, a trey ceiling overhead, and access to the nearby full bath.
Your kids will love the second bedroom! This
bedroom offers a custom-crafted bunk bed set for a whimsical sleeping
experience.
One thing we hear all of the time here in the
mountains is “Oh, my gosh, this air smells good!” That’s clean air you’re
breathing, and if you open up your bedroom windows, you’ll likely have the best
night’s sleep you’ve had in ages.
OUTDOOR SPACES
With an extensive wrap-around deck, you’ll have
your choice of tranquil spots.
Outside, you’ll find a bubbling outdoor hot tub
overlooking the forest, a BBQ grill, and a patio table that’s perfect for a
picnic lunch.
Hunt for constellations with the kids or crack
open a bottle of wine with your significant other. This cabin is made for
relaxing!

Beautiful cabin for a great vacation My family and I had a wonderful vacation at the Wandering Bear. Reservations were super easy online and exactly as listed. Colonial properties made our stay better by providing everything we needed! I love the touch of extra toiletries and needed items such as dishwashing detergent to get us through a few days! We decided we wanted to come a day early and they had the availability and it was very easy to add the extra night over the phone. The staff went over and above to make our stay great! The location was perfect, we weren’t far from a grocery store, downtown Gatlinburg, and Ober Gatlinburg. The views were spectacular and we even went on a little hike from our cabin and had beautiful views the whole way. We will definitely be back to stay here again and again! –Aimee Rivenbark

Spring 2021 vacation Great property for a small family-parents with 2-3 children as the home only has one shower. Very clean. We didn’t use the kitchen but it had the basics. Hot tub was great! We used it every night! –Julie Mcallister
