Living Area

In the open plan main level, space flows easily from living area to kitchen to dining area. The variegated wood floor unifies the whole level elegantly. Stretch out on one of the sofas, tuck a soft pillow under your head, and watch the flat screen TV or take a nap. No nap guilt here! You’re on vacation time, after all.

The stone fireplace is the room’s dramatic centerpiece, reaching up to the vaulted ceiling. Stack a few logs in this wood-burning fireplace and light a fire. Nothing’s more cozy and romantic than cuddling with your sweetheart in front of a crackling blaze. Wood paneling in warm, golden tones surrounds you, bringing the outdoors indoors.

Kitchen and Dining

With its gleaming. stainless steel appliances, sparkling tile backsplash, and cabinets of rich, dark wood, this kitchen is as beautiful as it is convenient. You get all the cookware, dishes and utensils you need, whether you’re creating meals from scratch or dishing up local takeout favorites. How about fresh donuts from The Donut Friar at breakfast, and slow-smoked pulled pork from Bennett’s Pit BBQ for supper?

A log dining table with seating for four guests sits between the kitchen and living area. Gather at this centrally located table to eat, play board games or catch up on email.

Bedrooms

The two bedrooms feature luxurious queen-sized mattresses beneath cozy comforters with richly hued Southwestern designs. Both rooms offer flat-screen TVs, wood paneling and flooring, and sweet Smokies touches–look for the little bears holding up a bedside lamp. The bedrooms have vaulted ceilings, making these rooms light and bright. Two bathrooms give everyone ample space to get ready each day. No jostling to be the first to get to the sink!

A queen sleeper sofa provides more options for a great night’s rest.

Game Loft

Get ready for hours of friendly competition! An arcade-style video game console stands ready, loaded with Mortal Kombat. Challenge the kids to a tournament on this classic game from your younger days! The winner picks dinner. Want a rematch? Switch games–play on the full-sized foosball table and see who’s champ.

Outdoor Spaces

Sit in the wicker armchairs on the covered, wraparound deck while you sip sweet tea. How about adding a splash of genuine Tennessee moonshine? This is your spot for reading that book you’ve been wanting to finish, or catching up on the latest episodes of your favorite podcast. Later, immerse yourself in soothing, bubbling water in the deck’s hot tub. You’ll still have terrific views while you soak!

Outside, a level, graveled area has a picnic table, fire pit, and charcoal grill. Toss steaks on the grill, then dine outdoors. Fresh air whets the appetite!

Because Teddy Bear Picnic is in the Chalet Village resort, your rental includes access to terrific resort amenities. Swim in the seasonal, outdoor pools and play on the tennis courts.

Swimming Pool

Access to the community pool is provided and managed by a third-party company. Colonial Properties is not responsible for pool maintenance or closures. The pool is generally open from Memorial Day to Labor Day, weather permitting.
