Bearly Ober

The property is awesome. Exactly as advertised and I would stay again. The only negative has nothing to do with the property itself, but it is the people who insist on driving up to Ober when there are two signs that say parking is full and to take the tram. It caused us to have to wait 20/30 minutes every time we returned back to the property because people have no common sense. That is no fault of colonial though, and I would recommend this spot to everyone. They were in touch the entire time to make sure we were all set.

It was a great property to stay for a weekend when we knew we would be out and not spending too much time at the condo. Host communicated excellently! The condo was very clean! You could definitely smell that it had been clean which we didn’t prefer we had to open windows to let it air out. Location was great short drive to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The living space was a good size plenty of room for my crew (4)! It’s a little tricky to find but not crazy. Overall it filled the need we had very well!

Upon walking into the place once we arrived, the atmosphere was very peaceful. The home was thoroughly cleaned and looked exactly like the pictures. The view was breathtaking, and I loved every minute spent in the home. I will be booking again, thanks for everything!!!

We were so happy with our stay at Bearly Ober. It was the perfect size for our family of four, and felt so cozy. It was clean, and spacious, and nicely stocked even for our week-long stay. It was a quick drive down to the nearby small markets and even a quick drive directly into downtown Gatlinburg. The beds were comfy, in fact all the furniture was. It was truly the perfect little retreat for us; incredibly homey and warm. We are thinking of coming next year and want to stay here again. The only things I’d mention were that it would be super useful to be more detailed in the rental notes about how to get there. I’d looked up reviews prior and saw someone say, you have to go down a side road and around the back to get to your rental - and thank goodness I saw that because it could’ve been confusing! Also, a guide to the TV might be good - it never quite worked right for us, seemed to not want to load or something - but we didn’t use it too much anyway, so it wasn’t a huge deal. These are not criticisms at all, just notes! We were absolutely thrilled with this rental and truly hope to stay here again in future!

Well needed vacation in a nice quiet relaxing condo. We stayed 2 weeks and in the middle of our stay we drove to Nashville and stayed there for 3 days and came back to our condo easy drive not even 4hrs from Gatlinburg. We did see 2 🐻 bears not far from the condo which last year i stayed here 1 week in July a saw one on the back wall of the condo. Its also a 15/20 minute drive to downtown Gatlinburg and also Pigeon Forge so it makes it great location.

Awesome place Starting at Chalet Village was amazing! The check in process is extremely easy and quick! The place was amazing, and just like the pictures! Was a excellent location to both Pigeon forge and Gatlinburg center condo was roomy enough for 2 adults and 3 teenagers. The road up to the condo was always a adventure seen Bear 1 evening on the side of the rd chilling 😎 then another at the condo which was the highlight of the trip lots of laughs were had .Great experience I would definitely do the 16+hr drive 1 way again beautiful smokey mountains.

Our stay at Beary Ober was great! The unit was exceptionally clean and well stocked. This is an older unit however, it is very spacious and parts of it have been nicely redone. We saw a couple of large bears passing through the parking lot when we arrived which made our day. The pool area was fantastic and close. Property management responded promptly to all of my questions however phone reception was in and out. We would definitely recommend and would love to stay here again.

Excellent Had a wonderful time. This was our first time in Gatlinburg in December. Everything was decorated so festively. We were close to town but far enough to feel secluded. Condo was very clean and had everything we needed. The complex was very quiet. Just the perfect setting to relax and unwind.

Great location!! This condo is in a great location! It's about 15 mins from Pigeon Forge and 8 mins from downtown gaitlinburg. The drive down towards Pigeon Forge has breathtaking views of the mountain!! The condo is very nice and quiet. We did have an issue upon arrival because the previous occupants had locked the keys inside but the property management company handled it well and quickly fixed the problem. We will stay here again!

Would rent again. We loved how the condo was mostly carpet. With two very young kids its nice to know that we didn't have to about falls on tile floor! We had no trouble getting in the condo like some of the previous reviews had said. The condo was very clean.

Bearly Ober Cabin in May We had a wonderful time while staying at the cabin. We felt very much at home and I appreciated having plenty of pots and pans for cooking. We really enjoyed being so close to Ober. Riding the tram into Gatlinburg was so convenient. Thank you!

Really enjoyed our stay! It was a very nice property. Spacious and comfortable. We had 4 adults and a child and everyone enjoyed the property. The kitchen was just the right size and was well stocked with dishes, glasses, pots and pans, containers and utensils etc. It was very clean and we enjoyed overlooking the common garden space with the walking path and little stream. We would definitely stay here again.

Will come back!! We booked very last minute and the no contact self check in was so convenient as we arrived in the middle of the night. We didn't realize that it was walking distance to Ober!! We are going to plan out trip for next year to ski and will def be renting this unit again. Very cute decor and all the necessities!! Had no issues at all... will book again!

Everything was great! All amenities were provided. Place was easy to get into. Only problem we had was with the recliner chair, it’s a bit off and if you lean back too far it won’t catch and you will tip over, my step father slept in it and it flipped over and almost hurt him. Other than that everything else was great! Thanks so a clean fun stay!
