1. Cherokee Grill

3. The Peddler Steakhouse

4. Chesapeake’s Seafood and Raw Bar

If your idea of a tasty Thanksgiving means shrimp instead of string beans, try Chesapeake’s. Dishes include lobster, crab cakes, oysters, steak or chicken. Don’t miss sides like spicy spinach mac and cheese and bacon cheddar cheese grits. Open 4 p.m - 10 p.m.

5. The Park Grill

This rustic lodge serves mountain-inspired cuisine, like moonshine-marinated chicken, mountain trout, hickory-grilled steaks and Tennessee BBQ. Desserts include creme brulee made with Jack Daniels whiskey. The Park Grill’s full menu will be available. Open 11:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. for lunch and 5 p.m. - 9 p.m. for dinner.

6. The Melting Pot

The Melting Pot is a fondue restaurant, where you dip meats, fish, veggies and more into rich cheese sauces, wine sauce or silky broth. For dessert, dunk sweet treats into your choice of chocolate blends. Open 4 p.m. - 9 p.m.

7. Smoky Mountain Brewery

Smoky Mountain Brewery shows off local brews including seasonal flavors. The menu has sandwiches, burgers, subs, nachos and the brewery’s own “wet wings,” plus calzones and pizzas. Open 11 a.m. - 11 p.m.

8. Bennett’s Pit BBQ

The Gatlinburg location of this local favorite serves its regular menu on Thanksgiving. Look for hickory-smoked pulled pork, beef brisket, ribs and sausages. Order platters of meats, chicken or catfish, with Southern sides. Open 4 p.m. - 9 p.m.
