Our 4 Favorite Places to Watch Football in Pigeon Forge

Published Aug 13, 2021

Football is about more than the score--it’s about gathering to watch games with friends, food, and beer in a lively atmosphere! Visit Pigeon Forge this fall and hit these great spots for watching pro and college football.

1. Blue Moose Burgers and Wings

With 20 flat-screen TVs, Blue Moose shows it’s serious about sports! This sports grill is family-friendly so bring the whole gang. If watching football and eating wings are your idea of a great combo, Blue Moose offers 16 different flavors of jumbo wings to nosh. The casual American menu includes burgers, hot dogs, and salads.

2. Timberwood Grill

Got folks with you who don’t want to hang out for the game? Settle in at the Timberwood Grill, located in The Island in Pigeon Forge. While screens show the gridiron action, the restaurant doesn’t have a sports bar vibe, and the menu features unique tastes to suit everyone.

Picture blackened steak tips and blue cheese over salad, or salmon and avocado, or crispy chicken tenders! If you’ve never tried bison chili, this is the place to dig in. Your mouth will water over the juicy half-pound burgers, beef brisket, ribs, sirloin, chicken, and shrimp. And because Timberwood Grill is at The Island, you can hang out after the meal and watch your games while the rest of the family enjoys The Island’s rides, games, and shopping!

3. Smoky Mountain Brewery

Soft pretzels and beer cheese dip, plus a cold beer in your hand as you choose which of 20 screens to watch--welcome to football at Smoky Mountain Brewery. This microbrew pub has small-batch local beers and seasonal special beers, so you can find a new favorite beer while you cheer on your favorite team! The brewery encourages you to “come surround yourself with screaming and excited fans” at their bar.

The food menu boasts calzones, pizzas, burgers and sandwiches, and appetizers like roasted chicken quesadillas and a sausage and cheese platter.

4. J.T. Hannah's Kitchen

Grab a high-top table and climb onto your stool to watch the big screens in the bar at J.T. Hannah’s. This restaurant on the Pigeon Forge Parkway has a bar perfect for game day (or game night) relaxing. Have lunch or dinner first if you like--there’s a full menu of steaks, seafood, sandwiches, burgers, and pasta. But if you’re here for the game, check out the fried pickle chips, deluxe nachos, deluxe-loaded potato skins, tater tots piled with pulled pork, and more.

Getting out of your vacation cabin to watch football with a crowd is a blast. But it’s also great to return to your private, relaxing Pigeon Forge cabin. Book your cabin online today!
