Welcome to The Pines, where you can play games, drink and dine until late, inside a beloved former theater. Located in downtown Sevierville, The Pines combines lively fun with great pizza and craft cocktails.
The Pines is a Tennessee classic. In 1944, it opened as a movie theater by day and a concert hall by night. Generations of local folks tapped their toes here. Sevierville’s favorite daughter, Dolly Parton, played her first paid gig at The Pines when she was only 10 years old.
Today, The Pines is still a gathering spot where you can make memories. Doors open at 4 p.m. Friday through Sunday, and 5 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday. Stay until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays, and 11 the rest of the week.
Join in the friendly competition! Try duckpin bowling–it’s like bowling, only smaller, and surprisingly challenging. Old-school games including foosball, darts, giant Jenga, and tabletop shuffleboard are all here, waiting for you to show off your skills.
Love those retro video games? Get psyched up to play, because The Pines has them! If board games are more your speed, grab a classic board game. If combining cocktails and competition sounds delicious, head for the “gaming cocktail corner” and sip while you play.
The food at The Pines is a delicious take on original pizzas and tasty apps! Start with honey-siracha wings for spicy sweetness. Dig into that Southern favorite, tater tots loaded with cheese, bacon and hot sauce. Get your mitts around the two-patty cheeseburger or the cheesesteak sandwich.
Pizzas are the perfect nosh for game nights. The Pines bakes five “house pies,” with toppings like wild mushroom, country ham, pork belly, and spicy salami. Build your own pie with your favorite flavors including pepperoni, ham, chicken, peppers and more.
How about the 9 to 5, evoking Dolly’s hit song, which mixes vodka and whiskey with espresso and Kahlua for a caffeinated kick? The Cowboy in Paradise blends two spiced rums with banana liqueur and fruit juices. Order the bright blue Sweet Shoppe Fishbowl (a drink for two) in alcoholic or non-alcoholic versions. The list of unusual drinks goes on, and of course you can order beers to pair with pizza, too.
