in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge
A resort community gets you the cabin and the amenities — pools, clubhouses, paved roads that don't test your car in January. Browse by resort to see which cabins we manage in each.
A cabin resort is a community of privately owned cabins that share roads, amenities and a setting. Picking the right one shapes your whole trip: how long the drive to Dollywood takes, whether there's a pool for the kids, and how much mountain driving you'll do after dark. Use this guide to narrow it down, then open any resort above to see the cabins we manage there.
Start with location
Decide where you'll spend most of your time. Dollywood fans do well on the Dollywood Lane side of Pigeon Forge, hikers often prefer Gatlinburg or Wears Valley, and groups visiting both towns can split the difference along the Spur.
Check the amenities
Some communities have seasonal outdoor pools, a few have indoor pools or clubhouses, and many have none. Amenity access and rules are set by each community, so ask us what's included before you book.
Think about the roads
Mountain resorts can mean steep, winding drives. If that's a concern, look for communities known for paved, gentler roads, or choose a condo or riverside cabin in town.
Dollywood Lane continues into Upper Middle Creek Road, and several communities sit in the hills around the park, including Starr Crest Resort, Legacy Mountain Resort, Hidden Springs Resort and Fox Run. Browse the whole corridor on our Upper Middle Creek page, or see cabins near Dollywood.
West of the Parkway, Wears Valley Road leads to quieter, wooded communities such as Woodridge Village, Black Bear Ridge, Cedar Falls and Hidden Mountain. Farther out, Wears Valley offers open views and back-door access to the national park.
For mountain views and quick access to downtown and the park, look at Chalet Village and Windswept off Ski Mountain Road, Roaring Fork on the east side of town, Big Ridge Mountain on the quieter Arts & Crafts side, or Cobbly Nob farther out on U.S. 321.
Want both towns within easy reach? Sherwood Forest sits at the Gatlinburg end of Pigeon Forge, and Sky Harbor and Caney Creek are just off the Spur.
Skip the mountain driving with a condo or a riverside cabin in Pigeon Forge. See River Place Condos, River Crossing Condos, Mountain View Condos and our Little Pigeon River cabins, or browse downtown Pigeon Forge.
For a quieter base closer to Sevierville, consider Grandview, Eagle Springs or The Oaks. Lake lovers can head to Douglas Lake Resort, with its boat ramp and clubhouse.
It's a community of individually owned cabins or condos that share roads and, in many cases, amenities like a pool or clubhouse. Each cabin is its own private rental.
Many resorts have seasonal outdoor pools, and a few, like Hidden Springs, Golfview and Mountain View Condos, have indoor pools. Use the amenity filter on each resort page, and ask us what's included with your stay.
