This is a hidden gem! The cabin is beautiful and the views are amazing! Very relaxing. Just what we needed after going through the horrible ice storm in North Mississippi and no power for 15 days. We will be back!

Great place. We kept hearing a choo choo and my 2 yr old loved it. My teens loved the hot tub. My son loved the pool table. Adults loved the rocking chairs and swing with the view. Only issue was the shower down stairs was broken. Not a big deal and im sure its fixed by now. Also got to see fireworks in the front of cabin during july 4th celebration.

This place was a hidden gem! Loved it from the moment we walked in the door. It is high up the mountain and the views were amazing! The hot tub worked so well on a cool evening - beautiful place to watch the stars at night. Then had coffee in the rocking chairs outside in the morning. Had all the amenities we needed. And there were some super cute Christmas decorations to keep the holiday mood alive. Loved the pool table and air hockey as well. The whole trip was perfect. Super close to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Owners were super responsive to any questions we had. Would DEFINITELY rent again. You always hope the place is as good as the pictures and this exceeded our expectations! Highly recommend a quick getaway here or a longer stay if you can.

Cabin was exceptionally clean! Beds were comfortable. Gorgeous sunrises high above the trees. Hot tub was nice and clean. We loved sitting by the fire and enjoyed the pool and air hockey tables, too. Kitchen was great! We had plenty of soaps, toilet paper and other items. We definitely would recommend this cabin!

This was the most pleasant trip we have ever been on! We were contacted by Colonial Properties before arriving, when we arrived, during our stay and upon check out! Colonial Properties stayed in touch with us the whole time checking to see how everything was going and if we needed anything throughout our stay. We enjoyed our time at Rocky Top Retreat. The view of the mountains was beautiful!!! This cabin was the perfect size for our family of six. Our children loved the upstairs loft with pool table and air hockey. The fire place was very easy to use and a huge plus. We used the hot tub on the upper deck and was very relaxing. Colonial properties were also great to deal with. They were very attentive to anything we needed. We will definitely be back!

So enjoyed our short stay. Everything was exactly as expected. Had trouble operating the heat when we arrived. Colonial immediately sent Nick. Nick was very polite and took care of the problem in no time. He arrived in minutes after they called. We will book again. A+++

I have stayed in many different cabins throughout the Smoky Mountains over the past 20 years. First time with Colonial Properties. Let me start off by saying they are a wonderful company to deal with. The staff I dealt with were delightful and professional. They made every effort to insure that the cabin and my stay was enjoyable. I have stayed in various cabins (from mild to wild) over the years and have found Rocky Top Retreat to be my absolute favorite. It’s very tastefully appointed and has just about everything you need. The views are incredible!!! And…what was a first for me was the fact that EVERYTHING WORKED!!! No shortage of hot water, no drainage issues, and the hot tub was fantastic! I can’t wait to revisit it!

Excellent We loved the cabin. We enjoyed the hot tub and the jetted tub for relaxation. Having the pool table and air hockey was an added benefit. The place is spacious and the view is breathtaking. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

This was a great cabin! There are so many to choose from and this one was perfect for our family of 5. Very clean, beautiful views and a nice hot tub. We loved the pool table and all of the outdoor deck space. One thing to note is there are no leftover condiments, etc. you will need to bring staples-coffee, salt, pepper, oil etc. We would definitely rent this cabin again!

My family and I really enjoyed staying at this location. My son was in town for a baseball tournament at the Ripken Experience, and this location was close to Pigeon Forge but also far enough from town to relax. We enjoyed both balconies, the hot tub, the upstairs game room, and the HUGE jacuzzi tub. We were a little confused by the thermostats changing temperature on their own at first but were able to figure that out after the first evening. The kitchen was also well stocked, and the Sojo starter sets of kitchen and bath items were very neat. We had to make a call to the concierge, and that was answered and returned very quickly. The only negative was that the carpet in the downstairs area wasn't the cleanest when we arrived, but there was a vacuum there for us to use.

This place was perfect for our family of 5... 2 adults and three children (3,7,10). The location at the top of the mountain provided a perfect early morning sunrise overlooking the mountains. Perfect place to have my coffee and relax in the hot tub. The in-unit washer dryer also came in handy with the frequent use of the hot tub and kids.

Our family was looking for some quality family time in the mountains. We got amazing views out the front and back of the mountains. At night we had a beautiful view of the Dollywood fireworks show. The space was very comfortable allowing us to all be “together” while having our own space. Location is perfectly situated away from the traffic and tourists yet close enough to “play” - snow tubing, ATV rentals and snow skiing. We will be back in the spring!

My friends and I had a great time at this location. The nearby town had plenty of attractions to keep us busy over the our 2 night stay. Overall, the cabin was wonderful. Would recommend for sure. I had 1 very small problem with the cabin, but despite that, I would still rate 5/5 1.) The TV upstairs has a Roku with it, but only has Apple TV? Roku technically has the ability to add other apps like Netflix, Hulu, etc. But this was locked with a PIN. We would have loved to just put hulu up and have something to watch while playing pool, but we couldn't because none of us had Apple TV and everything else was locked. Really not a big deal. Just kind of annoying.

Great stay at Rocky Top Retreat We stayed at this beautiful and well-appointed cabin during spring break. It had an amazing view, and so many wonderful amenities! It was very clean when we arrived. We also enjoyed the pool table, air hockey game and hot tub! Would highly recommend this cabin for anyone wanting to get away and enjoy some beautiful views of the Smokies.

Excellent, amazing experience and unbelievable location!!! Wow what a location. This was our 2nd time back to the Pigeon Forge\Gatlinburg area and by far Rocky Top Retreat didn't let us down. The views from both balcony's were amazing and the cabin lived up to and exceeded our expectations. The pool table was perfect for the kids and we actually ended up spending the majority of the time on the 2nd floor versus the first floor. Our only minor complaint was the hot tub was not chemically balanced, but we own a hot tub and know how difficult it is to stay up on and I can only imagine it's near impossible when you have random people using it practically every day of the year. OK, back to the cabin.........the amenities were all provided, the beds were comfortable, everything was clean, and again we were very satisfied. The location was maybe 5 minutes off of the main drag in Pigeon Forge and it was nice being on the "Gatlinburg" side of town so it was east to escape from the cabin and get into Gatlinburg without all the traffic and stoplights of Pigeon Forge. Thank you for an awesome family vacation.........

Rocky Top Retreat This cabin was spectacular. Everything was exactly as pictured. The views were beyond our expectations, photos do not do it justice at all. The property management was spot on. Any questions we had, they answered immediately. We didn't know how to turn the fireplace on and they sent someone up to help. A knob broke on the hot tub and they literally had it repaired while we were out to breakfast (which was about an hour after I called to let them know). We loved it so much that we extended our stay. It snowed about 5 or so inches during our last 2 days and we never had any issues with the road, the snow plow cleared them multiple times. Overall, this was a once in a lifetime experience and colonial properties is the reason why! We hope that we have the opportunity to stay again!!
