Try bacon-topped burgers or a brisket sandwich piled high with meat. Entrees include steaks, ribs, chicken pot pie and blackened salmon. Open 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

No Way Jose’s Mexican Cantina

Craving tacos instead of turkey? Take a break from tradition at No Way Jose’s. Celebrate the holiday with sizzling fajitas, hand-rolled enchiladas, tacos, burritos and combo platters. The bartenders here craft specialty drinks with tropical flavors, too. Open regular hours, 11 a.m.-9 p.m.

Downtown Flavortown

Downtown Flavortown’s arcade and bowling alleys are open on Thanksgiving! Guy Fieri’s restaurant serves a diner-style menu. Try Outta Bounds Waffles with ingredients cooked inside. The menu includes sandwiches, burgers, flatbreads, salads, dry-rubbed chicken wings and entrees including ribs and chicken alfredo pasta. Pie, cheesecake and bread pudding sweetly seal the deal. Open 11 a.m.-11 p.m.

Bennett’s Pit BBQ

At Bennett’s Pit BBQ, hickory smoke, homemade sauce and hours of cooking create tender pulled pork, beef brisket, ribs, sausages and hog legs. Order platters of meats, chicken or catfish, served with Southern sides including coleslaw, fried corn and collards. Open 11 a.m.-9:30 p.m.

Calhoun’s

Calhoun’s will serve both a special Thanksgiving menu and its regular menu of Tennessee BBQ ribs, pork and brisket. Chops, steaks, chicken, fish and shrimp join sandwiches, burgers and appetizers like chicken or beef chili and artichoke dip. Want to eat in your vacation cabin for Thanksgiving? Order a Calhoun’s Holiday Feed Pack for a traditional dinner to serve when you please. Open 11 a.m.-10 p.m.

Mama’s Farmhouse

A traditional menu makes Mama’s feel like you’re home. This casual, country restaurant will dish up a classic meal sure to include roasted turkey breast with cornbread stuffing. Details are still under wraps but expect down-home food like sweet potato casserole and mashed potatoes, all served family style. Open 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Paula Deen’s Family Kitchen

This family-style restaurant serves Thanksgiving dinner first come, first served, and won’t take reservations, so arrive early for the holiday menu.
