A Christmas Extravaganza: What to Expect at Dolly Parton’s Stampede Holiday Show

Celebrate a family-friendly Christmas at Dolly Parton’s Stampede. Devour a generous feast while you watch beautiful horses perform in the festively decorated arena. Here’s what to expect when you make new memories at the Stampede.

Pre-Show Entertainment

Arrive early at the big, red barn on the Pigeon Forge Parkway. Grab a cold drink in the Stampede’s signature Boot Mug. Tap your toes as bluegrass and country musicians fill the air with lively tunes. Stroll along the Horse Walk to meet the stars of the show–32 splendid horses!

Splendid Steeds

Watch these highly trained horses execute tricks, move in formation, prance to music, and delight all ages with their grace and intelligence. The expert riders’ fabulous holiday costumes sparkle. Beautiful music, from nostalgic Christmas carols to country classics, sets the scene.

Friendly Rivalry

There’s nothing like a little competition to liven up the holidays! Elves from the North and South Poles are rivals for your cheers and applause throughout the show. Root for your favorites, as the elves try to show who’s the best.

A Living Nativity

A living Nativity movingly shows the true meaning of Christmas. Watch the three kings arrive riding real camels as an angel soars overhead.

New This Year: “Elegance On Ice”

The Stampede transforms its arena into a sparkling ice palace, where skaters perform graceful dances and daring lifts in a breathtaking display.

Life-Sized Toys

The dazzling Sugar Plum Fairy magically brings toys to life right in front of you. Toy soldiers ride brightly adorned horses, while teddy bears and dolls cavort. Can you hear the sleigh bells? The Jolly Old Elf is on the way in his horse-drawn sleigh!

A Four-Course Feast

Dine on a lavish holiday meal during the show. Dolly’s own creamy vegetable soup starts the feast, followed by chicken hot off the rotisserie, hickory smoked pulled pork, corn on the cob and mashed potatoes, and a fresh, homemade biscuit. Drink all the Coke, tea or coffee you like, but save room for dessert! Need a vegetarian or gluten-free meal? Just ask.
