How to Celebrate New Years Eve with Kids in Pigeon Forge

How to Celebrate New Years Eve with Kids in Pigeon Forge

Spend New Year’s Eve in Pigeon Forge with the folks you love the most–your family! Whether you’ve got toddlers, teens, or in-betweens, you’ll find kids are welcome here, at celebrations like these.

Gliding Through Lights at Skyland Ranch

This mountaintop, ranch-themed park is one of Pigeon Forge’s newest attractions. Bring the kids during the day to feed miniature animals, ride Tennessee’s tallest swing tower, and zip downhill on the mountain coaster. Skyland boasts tasty eats, too, plus boutiques and a Christmas shop.

At dusk, Skyland transforms into the Festival of Lights, with a million twinkling lights. This is the Smokies’ only light show you can watch while you glide uphill in a chairlift!

Grooving to a Free Concert at The Island

On Dec. 31, this one-stop destination for rides, attractions, shops and food is open until midnight. The fun includes the 200-foot-tall Great Smoky Mountain Wheel, plus gentle kiddie rides, laser tag, escape room games, and much more. Don’t miss the Show Fountain, where illuminated water dances to music.

Starting at 7 p.m., The Island’s free New Year’s Eve party includes a DJ, two concerts by local artists, and a spectacular fireworks display as the year ends.

Exploring the Kids Zone at The Mountain Mile

Looking for kid-friendly celebrations with an earlier start time? The Mountain Mile mall holds its New Year’s Eve party from 4 p.m. until fireworks fill the sky at 10 p.m.

Festivities include Kids’ Zone activities, live music, food, door prizes, and a shopping spree giveaway. The Mile’s thrill rides are open, including the Monster Drop freefall drop tower and the Monster Swing, a massive arc swing sailing you into the sky.

Enjoying Your Pigeon Forge Cabin

Got kids too young for midnight outings? Ring in the New Year in the comfort of a warm cabin! Let the kids pick their favorite flicks for a family movie night. Bake cookies in the fully equipped kitchen. Build a roaring blaze in the outdoor fire pit, then roast marshmallows under the stars. After the kids are asleep, pop open some champagne!

Make a resolution to bring the kids to Pigeon Forge for these winter wonders. Book your family’s dream cabin online today!
