Skyland Ranch Unveils the WagonWheeler

Calling all thrill ride lovers! Head to Pigeon Forge for a heart-pounding adventure on Tennessee’s tallest, newest swing tower, the WagonWheeler at SkyLand Ranch.

This breathtaking ride lifts you 300 feet into the air, then flings you outward as it rotates in the sky. You’ll glimpse the Smoky Mountains rushing past, beneath your feet! Here’s the inside scoop on this new attraction.

A Spectacular Ride

The WagonWheeler opens this spring at SkyLand Ranch on the Pigeon Forge Parkway. This multimillion-dollar ride is as tall as a 30-story building.

You strap into suspended seats circling the base of a tower. The tower slowly lifts the seats to the top, and then the seats begin to spin around the tower. Soon, you're flying, nearly horizontal, the landscape blurring as your speed increases.

If you want bragging rights for braving the highest swing tower in the state, the WagonWheeler is calling your name.

Who Was the Legendary “WagonWheeler”?

This ride is a tip of the cowboy hat to Big Jack Wheeler, a Wild West legend who guided a Conestoga wagon through a raging whirlwind. The feat earned him the nickname “WagonWheeler.” Imagine you’re riding that whirlwind, as you sail through Smokies skies.
