1. Ponies in the Smokies Mar. 23-28

Celebrate more than 60 years of the legendary Ford Mustang at this show featuring car displays, vendors, and opportunities for ride-alongs. Watch owners and pro drivers demonstrate exciting drifting and burnouts and take part in autocross, fun runs, and a thrilling drag race.

2. Spring Rod Run April 16-18

Stroll among hundreds of souped-up, colorful, classic hot rods at the biggest car show in the Smokies! Visit the “car corral,” root for your favorite cars in dozens of competition categories, and enjoy family-friendly activities. Can’t make the Spring Rod Run? Come to the Fall Rod Run, Sept. 17-19.

3. Grand National F-100 Reunion May 14-16

4. Smoky Mountain Summerfest July 25

6. Great Smoky Mountain Jeep Invasion Aug. 20-22

The historic Jeep has been an icon since World War II. The centerpiece of the Jeep Invasion is “Show & Shine,” a display of the country’s best Jeeps, from vintage classics to souped-up, specialized vehicles.

7. Smoky Mountain Truck Fest Sept. 25-26

See “extreme trucks” at this huge international gathering. These customized trucks are popped up high, or turned into belly-scraping low riders, or tricked out with incredible designs. If you want an up-close look at unique trucks, this is your chance.
