Middle Prong Trail

Middle Prong Trail is a scenic 4.1-mile hike known for its beautiful waterfalls and peaceful creekside setting. Many hikers choose to turn this route into a longer day loop, making it a great option for those looking to spend extra time exploring the quieter side of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

Along the trail, you’ll encounter Indian Flat Falls and Lynn Camp Falls, along with numerous smaller cascades that tumble alongside the path. With the soothing sound of rushing water and lush forest scenery surrounding you, Middle Prong Trail offers a rewarding waterfall experience without the heavy crowds found on some of the park’s more popular hikes.
