Gatlinburg SkyBridge Admission: Is It Free or Do You Need to Pay?
Published Jan 14, 2025If you crave unforgettable experiences, don’t miss the breathtaking Gatlinburg SkyBridge. This mountaintop attraction is the only one of its kind in all of North America. Here’s what you need to know for a great day out at the SkyBridge.
Why is the SkyBridge worth visiting?
The bridge is the longest pedestrian suspension bridge on the continent, longer than two football fields laid end to end. The bridge sits 1,800 feet above sea level. Halfway across, the bridge surface gives way to 30 feet of glass panels. Look straight down and you’ll see the valley far beneath your feet! You’ll feel as if you’re walking on air.
Is SkyBridge admission free?
The SkyBridge isn’t free, but admission is included as part of your ticket to Gatlinburg SkyPark. One-time entry to the SkyPark costs $34.95 for visitors aged 12 to 64, $27.95 for seniors (65 and up), and $15.95 for kids (ages 6-11). Kids 5 and younger are free.
Want to come and go from the SkyPark? Buy a SkyPass for unlimited entries on the same day, for $46.95 for adults, $39.95 for seniors, and $32.95 for kids.
What else is there to do at Gatlinburg SkyPark?
The bridge is just the start of your outdoor adventure. The SkyPark also features:
SkyTrail. This boardwalk trail hugs the mountain ridge, giving you incredible views of the bridge, the valley, and Gatlinburg below. The level, easy walk is appropriate for all ages. Your four-legged friends are welcome, too.
Hiking trails. Three hiking trails offer tranquil walks with gorgeous Smokies views along the way. Take a break, relax on one of the log benches dotting the trails, and watch for the abundant wildlife that thrives on these forested slopes.
Tulip Tower. Cross a rope bridge to reach this 70-foot observation tower. Four viewing platforms, each with its own unique theme, give you views for miles.
SkyCenter. Enjoy food and drinks in an unbeatable setting, then shop for souvenirs before heading back down the mountain.
How do I get to SkyPark?
The SkyPark entrance is on the Gatlinburg Parkway, between stoplights six and eight. You’ll find a chairlift waiting to whisk you up the mountainside. Enjoy ever-higher views as you glide toward the SkyCenter.
