Secluded and quiet, Starkey’s Homestead is an idyllic retreat next to Great Smoky Mountains National Park. This is one of the last truly remote rentals in the area, offering privacy away from other cabins. With three bedrooms, an extra-large kitchen, and incredible outdoor spaces, this Pigeon Forge cabin is a dream destination that defines “getaway”! Come on inside.
Two big, soft leather sofas and a plump leather recliner invite you to stretch out and watch the flat-screen TV. Binge your favorite shows until you drift off! The adorable little bears perched on the mantelpiece will watch over you. Later, light a crackling blaze in the stone fireplace and sip hot chocolate or cold moonshine in the glow.
This huge kitchen comes fully equipped with all the cookware, dishes and utensils you need. Two ovens make cooking a breeze. Toss a lasagna into one and bake a pie in the other. Dinner’s done! Counter space stretches on and on here, giving you plenty of food prep space.
The kitchen bar counter seats four to six diners with ease. The bar makes an ideal buffet, too. Lay out a breakfast bagel bar or a taco bar at lunchtime.
Three king bedrooms and a queen sleeper sofa offer a great night’s sleep for up to eight guests. All bedrooms pamper you with top-notch TVs and cooling ceiling fans.
The master bedroom is a spacious escape where you can spend hours reading, playing games and watching TV. This bedroom has a delightfully cozy sitting area with its own full-sized, stone fireplace and a leather recliner. The bed is an elegant, dark wood frame topped with a country quilt. Step through French doors onto the deck outside and breathe in the fresh, mountain air.
The second bedroom is a trip back to a simpler time. Fall asleep each night in an old-fashioned metal bedstead evoking the early 20th century. The distressed wood furnishings include a classic steamer trunk and an antique-style desk.
The third king bedroom is a charmer, with restful, deep gray walls, and a nostalgic white metal bed. A wooden rocking chair sits on a braided rug, as if you’re at a Southern grandma’s house.
The cabin’s two bathrooms give everyone ample space for getting ready each day. The master bath features a jetted tub to massage your muscles after a day of hiking in the Smokies.
Starkey’s Homestead is a nature lover’s paradise. Immerse yourself in the hot tub on the wraparound deck. Gather at the outdoor fire pit to make s’mores or just tell stories under the stars. Wander by the scenic 100-year-old barn and the creek. Explore Starkeytown Road: This beautiful road is comparable to the beloved Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trail, except your road is entirely private!
With your cabin rental, you get access to a waterfall within walking distance. Enjoy a picnic in the covered pavilion here.
Complimentary WiFi helps you book tickets to Pigeon Forge attractions and keep up with your email.
Two parking spaces keep your vehicles close at hand, ready for jaunts into town or to the national park.
The cabin’s washer and dryer let you toss in a load of laundry any time you want.
No need to bring your own towels or sheets. The cabin is stocked with all the linens you’ll need.
Do bring your furry family member, because this cabin is pet-friendly!
