Thank you for your kindness and concern.The cabin was just the right size for my husband and I. We were comfortable and loved sitting on the back porch listening to the water.

Vacation Barefoot by the River was a great place to stay!! The awesome sounds of the river was so relaxing! Seeing a mixture of nature’s wildlife was just great! I have already recommended this place to several of my Family and Friends! I really enjoyed the peace that I got from this wonderful experience!

Barefoot by the River is a little slice of Heaven This is our second stay with Colonial Properties at Barefoot by the River and it has been exceptional both times! Check-in and out was effortless and the cabin was spotless. We love how close it is to so many attractions, but we also love just relaxing on the deck and watching the river flow by. So relaxing! We will definitely be back!

Our Smokey Mountain stay at Barefoot By The River Great stay at Barefoot! It was very well maintained, very clean with all the things we needed. Going thru and Coming out of COVID we have been extremely cautious everywhere we’ve stayed but this place was top notch; The call ahead from the leasing agency with instructions and checking on us we’re a welcome surprise. The grounds were well maintained! Loved the porch and sound of the water in the back. Definitely would recommend and stay again! Thank you!

Barefoot By The River The place was really clean, very peaceful. Enjoyed sitting on the back porch listening to the sound of the river. Got to meet the owners. They were very nice. Would certainly come back to stay here. Had everything we needed. Had no trouble booking it. Everyone at Colonial Properties Cabin and Resort Rentals are so nice and helpful.

Peaceful Adorable cabin! The location of the cabin made our stay relaxing and peaceful. Our favorite spot was sitting on the back porch watching the Little Pigeon River. We will return to this cabin again on our next trip to the Smokies.

Excellent Had a fantastic weekend… it was very clean , has been well maintained.. perfect for a couple to enjoy time with one another … river nice peaceful touch to location, and would visit this cabin again in future !!!

Excellent We had an excellent stay!! Cabin is located in a perfect proximity to everything you would leave to do. The amount of fireflies you see off the front porch is unreal and so beautiful at night. 

Riverside Dream ... A wonderful private getaway that provides the true sound of nature (river). If this place ever went up for sale I’d buy it in a heartbeat !

River memories My wife & myself had the most enjoyable vacation & this cabin was everything we were looking for , seclusion & roomy land , rushing river was the only noise ! Over 15 years of cabin vacationing in the Smoky mountain area this was our favorite ! 15-20 minutes from either city but nice country setting! Minutes from the Ramsey Cascades hike . Awesome cabin for 2 -4 people .

Barefoot By The River We loved the cabin, we’ll definitely try to get back in the future. The cabin is awesome, with lots of river frontage. The valley it’s located in is very scenic, with lots of elbow room between you and your nearest neighbor. We had a great time!
