LIVING AREA

Drop your luggage and head straight for the buttery-soft leather sofas! They just beg you to sprawl and relax. Enjoy soothing views of the trees outside. Light a fire in the stone fireplace and watch the flames dance. If you can tear your gaze away from all that beauty, check out shows, movies and sports on the cabin’s flat-screen TV. 

KITCHEN

Every Colonial Properties cabin kitchen comes fully equipped with all the cookware, dishes and utensils you need, whether you’re cooking for a gang or prepping a picnic for two. Lookout Lodge’s kitchen provides plenty of counter space, a double sink and a kitchen bar counter with seating for six. Sip your morning coffee here while you check email or sneak in a game of Candy Crush before the kids come downstairs. We won’t tell.

DINING AREA

The cabin’s airy, open-plan main level puts the dining area next to the kitchen, so food always arrives on the table piping hot. And what a gem this table is! Got an HGTV fan in the family? Lovers of the Joanna Gaines “refined rustic” look will relish dining at this huge farmhouse table, with seating for eight and an antler chandelier overhead. 

BEDROOMS

Five bedrooms plus a bonus bunk room give everyone space, privacy and a great night’s rest. Every one of the bedrooms has a king mattress for ultimate comfort and a flat screen TV so you can watch shows as late as you want. Two bedrooms offer in-room, private fireplaces, perfect for cozy nights or rainy, lazy afternoons. 

There’s a bedroom for every taste here, too. The traditional master suite features a cathedral ceiling, fireplace and rich, elegant furnishings. Another bedroom is all country chic, with a log bed and pretty pine furniture. True romantics will want the bedroom with the graceful wrought metal headboard and old-fashioned writing desk. The bunk room sports twin bed bunks just right for kids or teens.

Lookout Lodge’s five bathrooms have shower and tub combos. With one bathroom for each bedroom, no one has to wait to get ready in the mornings. 

GAME ROOM

Welcome to the lavishly appointed game room. Spend hours shooting pool, playing air hockey or competing with the kids on arcade games including Pac-Man. A second gaming console and a pinball machine add to the fun. Play tunes on the jukebox and dance with your sweetheart. Kick back on the comfy sofas while you watch TV. 

The game room’s big windows and French doors opening onto the deck bathe this space in natural light. No dark basement game room in this beauty of a cabin! 

OUTDOOR SPACES

Take a cold glass of moonshine onto the covered deck. Bring a book if you like, but you might find the view much too distracting. You’re at treetop height, with blue silhouettes of mountain ridges in the distance. Settle into one of the graceful, bent-wood rockers or catch a breeze on the porch swing. Fill the hot tub and soak your cares away in bubbling jets of water. 

OTHER AMENITIES

No need to leave your four-legged family member at home! Lookout Lodge welcomes dogs (up to 25 pounds).

Bring your bathing suits and pool toys because your rental includes access to the resort’s outdoor, seasonal swimming pool. 

The cabin provides Wi-Fi so you can buy those Dollywood tickets online, or order takeout from Gatlinburg’s great restaurants.

The full-sized washer and dryer make clean-ups easy, so pack lightly–you can always toss in a load of laundry whenever you like. 

Pull your car right up to the front door. The cabin faces a paved parking area with four spaces just for you.
